My Clients Honeymoon to Bali
One of my clients recently returned home from their honeymoon to Bali. This post will be about their experience and unforgettable trip!
After a little bumpy start and an unplanned overnight in Seoul, they arrived in Bali. The first stop was the Soori Bali., a quiet, hidden refuge set on the ocean between a volcanic mountain (Mount Batukaru) and rice fields. We choose a Villa with a private pool, an amazing 2960 square foot room with a view of the ocean.
This is what she says about this room and resort:
“I AM IN AWE!! I have never stayed anywhere this nice in my life! We have our own private pool facing the ocean. The food is spectacular!! This place is amazing, I highly recommend you come here. I even recommend this over Africa and I do not say that lightly!”
“I cannot tell you enough about the service here. The whole staff knew our names since the time we walked in the door. They leave you wanting for nothing and are constantly smiling and asking how you are and if you need anything. It’s really quite unbelievable!
Bali is BEAUTIFUL!! And the best food I have ever had in my life! The people are just as amazing. I wish this place on all of you! Honeymoon dream come true”
Some of the things they did on the island: A Segway Rice Patty tour as well as a Village tour, ordered cheesecake and champagne while the resort staff did their laundry (lol), ate dinner alone on front patio with the Indian Ocean 50 yards in front them and walked the beautiful Black Sand beaches of Bali
Obviously they loved this place, now on to their 2nd stop!
Their second stop was the Jeeva Klui resort on Lombok Island. After an hour flight from Bali and a slightly longer transfer, they arrived at their resort. Located on a secluded beach overlooking the Indian Ocean, this resort is known for its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. We choose a Beachfront Villa with amazing views of the ocean. As part of their package, they also received 1 spa treatment per day.
Here are some of their comments:
“The room is adorable! Not as much privacy as the Soori but we are still very, very happy! Every day the island shows us something new. No matter where you go here everybody smiling and so over-the-top friendly. We have seen is lionfish, puffer fish, blue starfish and pink star fish and orange star fish. The coral is so beautiful it is indescribable! The restaurant we ate at today had kittens and puppies everywhere! I would’ve taken home every puppy if I could have. Our host and new friend had every moment planned. White sand beaches and crystal blue green waters as far as you could see!
Soaking up the culture of Indonesia today with our new friend, Ken. Had lunch at his mother’s restaurant and it’s the best food we’ve had since we’ve been in Lombok. Samosa, curried eggs, fried tofu, Tom Yum soup and of course the staple food of Indonesia, rice”
Some of the things they did on the island: Snorkeling tour, attended 3 Muslim weddings, explored the island including tobacco fields, lobster farms, pearl farms, and fish market, expedition to the island of Gili Naangu, and enjoyed great meals with new friends from the island.
Many adventures and memories created. Now on to their 3rd and final stop!
Final stop, Ubud Alila, a beautiful resort nestled way back in a monkey forest. After a plane ride back from Lombok and a 2 hour transfer time to the jungle, they arrived. This time we choose a private villa with a garden view and their own private pool. They even had an open-air bathtub set in the middle of a lotus pond!
Some of their comments include:
“This place is gorgeous! We got to watch monkeys in the trees during dinner. They were right there!. This place is so beautiful I cannot even begin to explain it. Woke up to screeching animals, pinch me! Our villa is gorgeous, HUGE and came with an unexpected private pool.
Yesterday spoke for itself. The babies were grabbing my hands and jumping on my feet. The cutest, most adorable thing in the entire world. Bali zoo was something else. What a send off!!”
Some of the things they did on the island: Visited Monkey Island and played with various types of monkeys and lemurs at Bali Zoo, fed and bathed elephants, and enjoyed the last few nights of their Honeymoon in their very spacious, private villa.
I think the above picture says it all. They loved every minute of their Honeymoon and I was so happy to be a part of it. Thank you Tracey and Jeff and congrats on your new life together!!
