I get this question all the time. With all the online travel agencies out there, why should I book with a travel agent?

When I first started my career as a travel agent, the only way to arrange a trip was to call a tour operator or a travel agent. My phone would be ringing off the hook and people would stay on hold for over an hour just to book their travel.

Expedia and other big online travel agencies started in 1996 and the future of travel agents and agencies changed. There was a decrease in people using travel agents and agencies had to find a way to fill this gap. They changed... 

I love going on vacation but I HATE packing! I am sure some of you will agree with me. I am typically the last minute packer, many times just the night before. However, I rarely forget anything. With the packing tips I am about to share with you, you won't either!

The biggest tip that I can give you is do not over pack. I always see these people at the airport with a cart full of suitcases and I always think to myself "what the heck could be in there?" Unless you are going on a month long safari, you should only need one suitcase. And with airline baggage fees, this will save you a lot of money!
